HIPPI 8x8 Switch

HIPPI 8x8 Switch is a nonblocking 8-input, 8-output cross-point switch for HIPPI channels, and is fully compatible with any networking software implementing the ANSI HIPPI Switch Control Standard. The HIPPI 8x8 features full HIPPI bandwidth of 800 Mbps on each channel, less than one microsecond input port arbitration delay and support for both Source and Logical Addressing. Its routing capabilities are independently configurable by port, permitting restricted network access on a port-by-port basis. The Independent Switch Management port is accessible through logical addressing or RS-232C connected terminal or processor.
